Flax Oat Banana Smoothie

This tasty banana smoothie is packed full of the nutrition your body needs to get moving in the morning. It is loaded with fiber (oats and banana), Omega 3's (flax), protein (milk and yogurt), and potassium (banana). What a great way to start the day.

If you want to add even more nutrition and flavor, try adding some blueberries or strawberries.

Flax-Oat-Banana-Smoothie
1 Serving

1 tablespoon flax meal
¼ cup rolled oats
½ cup plain yogurt
½ cup cow or soy milk
1 banana
2 teaspoons honey
¼ teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
